These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use PicClip (picclip.app) and the viewer at viewer.picclip.app. By creating a project or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. We keep them short and plain.

1. Who we are

PicClip is operated by:

Thomas Toffalori
Rosengartenstrasse 15
39022 Algund (Lagundo), Italy
Email: [email protected]

VAT / registration number: to be added before launch.

2. What PicClip is

PicClip turns a printed photo book into an interactive keepsake. You connect each photo to a video, we generate QR codes, and when someone scans a page the matching video plays in their browser through our viewer at viewer.picclip.app. No app installation is required.

3. Your account

You sign in with a magic link or code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for the information you provide. You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use PicClip.

4. Your content and acceptable use

The photos and videos you upload remain yours. You confirm that you own them or have the right to use them, and you grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and serve them to the people you share your QR codes with โ€” solely to provide the service.

You agree not to upload content that:

We may remove content or suspend access if these rules are broken, and will tell you why where we can.

5. Pricing and payment

PicClip is a one-time purchase per project โ€” there is no subscription. Plans are Starter (โ‚ฌ9.90), Classic (โ‚ฌ19.90), and Premium (โ‚ฌ34.90), and each price includes 5 years of hosting (see ยง6).

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record (reseller). Paddle handles the transaction and any EU VAT, and appears as the seller on your receipt; Thomas Toffalori is the supplier of the service. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown inclusive of applicable tax where required.

6. Hosting commitment

Every PicClip project includes 5 years of hosting from the date of purchase. After those 5 years, you can renew for a small annual fee to keep your videos online. This matches what we promise on the landing page.

7. If the service is discontinued

If we ever decide to discontinue PicClip, we will give you at least 12 months' notice and make your uploaded content available for download before the service ends, so you can keep your memories.

8. Changing your videos

You can update the videos linked to your photos anytime through your PicClip account. The QR codes printed in your book keep working โ€” they always point to the latest video you have set.

9. Refunds

As a digital service, your PicClip project is made available to you as soon as your QR codes are generated. Where EU consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal, that right ends once delivery begins with your consent. If something goes wrong, contact us at [email protected] โ€” we will always try to make it right. Refunds are handled through Paddle, and a refund ends access to the associated project.

10. Availability and liability

PicClip is offered on an "as is" basis and is currently in beta, so features may change and occasional downtime can happen. We aim to keep the service reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your project. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Data and privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we will notify account holders of significant changes.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence in the EU. Questions? Email [email protected].
